UFM signed an expansion agreement with Thompson rivers University (Canada)
On October 17, 2022, University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) and Thompson Rivers University (TRU), Canada held a signing ceremony of cooperation expansion agreement with the presence of Mr. Suraj Shah, Deputy Director of TRU International Admissions & Communication Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Rector of UFM and teachers and leaders from other UFM units.
Accordingly, the two institutions discussed and exchanged expanding partnership, including: expand the 4+0 training mode with Thompson Rivers University (Canada), exchange plans for lecturers and students between the two universities. In particular, during this visit, TRU personally handed over to UFM an expanded agreement on transfer recognition for students of all training systems of the University of Finance – Marketing if students wish to transfer to study at TRU, Canada in the future.

Through the agreement, it can be seen that UFM's training brand is increasingly enhanced, and UFM's training programs are recognized by many major universities in developed countries (G7). This is a great opportunity for students to choose to study at UFM for 4 years or to easily transfer to other prestigious universities in the world.

Also on this visit, the Representative of Thompson Rivers University, Canada – Mr. Suraj Shah also had the opportunity to interact with students and parents participating in the 2+2 partnership mode , to answer questions, to explain the procedure and study program at Thompson Rivers University, Canada when they transfer to study abroad. The seminar attracted a large number of students from other collaborative training programs of the University.
Thompson Rivers University, Canada (TRU) was established in 1970 in the city of Kamloops, Canada. It is one of the largest public universities in Canada with more than 200 graduate, bachelor's, certificate, college preparatory programs to ESL programs, online education. The university is recognized by the government as one of the largest comprehensive universities in Canada. Over the past 45 years, TRU has prided itself on providing an excellent education to every student from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, at different stages of their learning journey. There are currently nearly 26,000 students studying at campuses in Kamloops and Williams Lake.
