History of Formation and Faculty Development
The Faculty of Foreign Languages was established under Decision No. 01/QD-ĐHMKT dated May 27, 2004 by the Rector of Marketing Semi-Public University (now University of Finance - Marketing). There are 47 lecturers with doctorate and master degrees graduated from prestigious domestic and foreign universities and 01 faculty academic secretary and 46 lecturers. The Faculty currently has two departments: General English and Business English.
Established in accordance with the Decision No. 01/QD-ĐHMKT dated May 27, 2004 by the Rector of Marketing Semi-Public University (now as University of Finance - Marketing), the Faculty of Foreign Languages includes two departments - General English and Business English. We are currently staffed with 46 lecturers and 01 faculty academic secretary. All of our teaching staffs hold doctorate and master’s degrees from prestigious domestic and international universities.
Our mission
We were established with a mission: equipping students for their future global workplace, contributing to Vietnam's economic growth and community development with a foundation of language knowledge and English communication skills in business environment as well as career skills, self-responsibility and practical experience. That provides the society with products of training, scientific research and application in the field of English language used in the business environment, helps the advancement of industrialization and modernization of the country in the context of world economic integration.
Our vision
We strive to develop into one of the high-quality training and research units in business English with application-oriented training programs, meeting the needs of businesses and organizations in the fluid global environment, especially in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
