The English Speaking Event “THE VIETNAMESE ESSENCE”

In the joyful atmosphere approaching the Tet holidays, the English-speaking event 'THE VIETNAMESE ESSENCE' was organized by the 2024 Spring Volunteer Campaign Executive Committee of the Faculty of Foreign Languages under the guidance of the 2024 Spring Volunteer Campaign Executive Committee at the University of Finance and Marketing. This event took place at Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and opened up more opportunities for UFM students to meet and engage in cultural exchange together.

During this event, UFM students were encouraged to utilize English as a tool to communicate, which helped them gain a novel perspective on the rich cultural heritage of many different regions. Particularly, the presentation about the map of Vietnam in English was a special highlight of the program organized by  Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Faculty of Foreign Language. Through demonstrating a presentation, UFM students could foster their ability to describe the intricate contours of the S-shaped landmass. Besides, they were able to highly express their pride in their homeland and their responsibility to protect the nation’s sovereignty over the seas and islands.

The event acknowledged the enthusiastic participation and contribution from both students as well as the competitive teams such as Lotus, Red Flag for Life, Communist, Naughty Wolves, and Zero Fear. Collectively, they had created an intense and vibrant competition.
